About

Follow the three step process: 1. Watch theory video 2. Watch procedure video 3. Complete the exam This tutorial provides step-by-step instructions for performing a pellet insertion procedure. It includes guidelines on preparing the sterile field, drawing and injecting the appropriate amount of Lidocaine with Epinephrine for both male and female patients, and making the incision. The procedure involves using a trocar to insert the pellets into the patient's tissue, ensuring proper placement to prevent extrusion. The tutorial emphasizes maintaining sterility throughout the process, changing gloves as needed, and using specific techniques to advance and place the pellets. Finally, it covers post-procedure care, including cleansing the insertion area and applying a dressing. Participants receive a certificate of completion upon successfully passing the exam.
